As hockey fans we&#8217;re so pumped to have another professional franchise take part in the city&#8217;s pro sports scene. The expansion draft has taken away several top players so it will no doubt be an adjustment. That being said, they still have their leader and women&#8217;s hockey superstar Marie-Philip Poulin in place and she will no doubt continue to make solid contributions. With the leagues #1 goaltender, anything is possible. The first two seasons had six teams in the league: Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa &amp; Toronto. In the first season four of the six teams made the playoffs (TOR, MON, BOS, MIN) and in the first round of the playoffs the first overall Toronto Sceptres were able to pick their opponents. They picked the 4th ranked Minnesota Frost. To celebrate the inaugural PWHL Vancouver team season we&#8217;ve decided to set up a box pool to help ourselves, friends and others get familiar with some of the team and league players. Somehow after the roster construction Vegas has our franchise as the odds on favourite to win the championship! What an amazing way to start the season with such excitement and expectation!
