Welcome to the information page for the Pick Doctor’s PWHL 2025-26 Season Box Pool! To celebrate the inaugural PWHL Vancouver team season we’ve decided to set up a box pool to help ourselves, friends and others get familiar with some of the team and league players. Somehow after the roster construction Vegas has our franchise as the odds on favourite to win the championship! What an amazing way to start the season with such excitement and expectation!

Link to pool via Google Forms Entryor

Basic details follow, but here’s a quick rundown on how the pool works:

  • One entry per person; the fee is $10, with everything going towards a prize pool
  • Pick a team / player from each of the boxes below
  • For fun, you can name your entry or just use your first name or initials
  • We’ve created a Google Form so that you can submit your selections that way as well
  • Or if you need to print out a form and send us your choices, that’s fine too!
  • Once the season starts; we’ll create a Google Sheets document so that everyone can follow along!
Scoring Rules & Notes
Teams will be scored based on:
– WINs are worth 3 points each
– WINs via OT are worth 2 points each
– LOSSes via OT are worth 1 point each
– A Shutout gets you 2 additional points! (ie. regulation shutout win = 5 pts!)

Players will be scored based on:
– Goals are worth 2 points each
– Assists are worth 1 point each
– Game Winning Goals are worth an additional point
– Power Play Goals are worth an additional point
– Short-handed Goals are worth an additional point
– Shots on Goal are worth 0.1 points
– ie. if your player scores the game winning goal while on the power play, that’s 4 points!

We will use the official PWHL website as our scoring guide.
