The Chief from the Pick Doctors is based in Vancouver and we’re excited to support the new Vancouver PWHL franchise, the Vancouver Goldeneyes. As hockey fans we’re so pumped to have another professional franchise take part in the city’s pro sports scene. This page serves as an information page for new PWHL fans to learn more about the upcoming season and for us to announce our inaugural PWHL Regular Season Box Pool.

Montreal Victoire After generating the most points in the league last year the Victoire are probably disappointed with their semi-finals exit to the Ottawa Charge. The expansion draft has taken away several top players so it will no doubt be an adjustment. The PWHL & US Team Previews There have been some attempts at professional women’s hockey leagues recently and in past, you can wikipedia that kind of stuff; but the PWHL started its first season in 2023-24. The first two seasons had six teams in the league: Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa & Toronto. In the first season four of the six teams made the playoffs (TOR, MON, BOS, MIN) and in the first round of the playoffs the first overall Toronto Sceptres were able to pick their opponents. Welcome to the information page for the Pick Doctor’s PWHL 2025-26 Season Box Pool! To celebrate the inaugural PWHL Vancouver team season we’ve decided to set up a box pool to help ourselves, friends and others get familiar with some of the team and league players. Somehow after the roster construction Vegas has our franchise as the odds on favourite to win the championship! What an amazing way to start the season with such excitement and expectation! You can visit the PWHL Vancouver on the league web site to get started on learning about the team. The league starts on Friday, November 21, 2025 – when the Vancouver franchise will play their first game at the Pacific Coliseum against their fellow new expansion team from Seattle.
